ISO

Quality First and Foremost

Our ISO certification assures customers they can rely on HARRASSOWITZ, knowing that we will continue to maintain the highest quality service in every area of our operation.

HARRASSOWITZ was first certified for its commitment to high quality service by the International Standards Organization (ISO) in 2007 according to ISO 9001:2000 guidelines. In March 2023, HARRASSOWITZ was recertified through an external audit using the latest ISO 9001:2015 guidelines and prior to that had successfully passed annual audits.

As part of our dedication to providing the best service possible, HARRASSOWITZ implemented a Quality Management System focusing on training, process transparency, and measurement against established quality goals. All departments of the company have been instrumental in defining standards for their respective areas, ensuring that quality goals are built into daily workflows throughout the organization. Results are evaluated, both internally and externally, on a regular basis in order to monitor improvements and foster progress.

The Quality Management System encompasses our e-resource services including e-journal subscriptions, databases, and e-books, demonstrating HARRASSOWITZ’s adaptability to market developments and commitment to continuous learning and service excellence.
