What is OttoEditions?
OttoEditions is the HARRASSOWITZ online search and order
system. It contains information dating from 1986 and includes more than 1.8
million monographic records (as of October
2005) and over 100,000 European music scores. HARRASSOWITZ
expects to add approximately 100,000 records annually.
OttoEditions covers the scholarly works and literary texts of German-speaking countries,
from more than 40,000 publishers and publishing institutions. Largely composed of German and English language publications,
OttoEditions also contains a select number of works in other Continental European languages. Bibliographic records
in the database are prepared by HARRASSOWITZ with some contributions from the Deutsche Bibliothek.
Who may order items from OttoEditions?
Authorized Library Customers:
Libraries who have already established an account with HARRASSOWITZ may set up an online
account for OttoEditions by filling out the online registration form found at the OttoEditions site http://www.harrassowitz.de/ottoeditions. If your library does not have
an account with HARRASSOWITZ, please contact service@harrassowitz.de.

Functionality for libraries
OttoEditions allows libraries to make pre-order selections,
order titles online, review current orders, and track order progress.
Orders placed online can be imported into the local library acquisitions
system. Customized book lists and management reports will also be available.
OttoEditions is password-protected and offers online user registration
and profile management to assist libraries with their acquisitions and
collection development activities.
