Welcome to OttoEditions 2.0
HARRASSOWITZ is pleased to
present OttoEditions version 2.0, with enhanced functionality and completely
redesigned displays.
OttoEditions now features a
labelled display of your search results, with each data element clearly
identified. The search results are now grouped so that related titles
appear together. Whenever a set or a volume in a set is retrieved, all
the volumes are grouped under the set record. Variations in format or
binding, language, edition and source are also grouped together, making
it easy to identify what versions of a book exist and to decide which
version to order.
E-books are clearly identified
with an e-book icon, and, if multiple providers offer the same book, the
order form allows you to choose which provider you wish to use. In addition,
extra fields have been added to e-book records, including DOI's, content
URL's and provider's website.
Further improvements include
the following:
 |
Ability to search for
more than three words in a search index. |
 |
Ability to search for
truncated HARRASSOWITZ subject codes. This allows you to search for
all subcodes in one search. |
 |
Display of HARRASSOWITZ
subject codes as HARRASSOWITZ English language subject headings. |
 |
Ability to see order status
of all volumes in a set, without having to retrieve each volume separately. |
All previous functionality
is still available.
We know that our book customers
will find that these enhancements will improve their efficiency in locating
and ordering materials from HARRASSOWITZ.
For detailed explanations of
the new features, please refer to Search
Results and Ordering
